瓦斯貨車疑闖紅燈！ 騎士遭撞左眼破裂
貨車駕駛闖紅燈，撞飛騎機車的夫妻，日前台北市興隆路發生一起嚴重事故，載瓦斯的小貨車，行駛在下坡路段，經過十字路口時，疑似沒注意前方是紅燈，搶快追撞雙載的潘姓夫妻，兩名傷者全身是傷、顱內出血，送醫治療，先生的左眼破裂，只剩單眼的視力。
小貨車直直往前，砰一聲，撞到一部機車，車上兩個人從坐墊上摔翻落地，動也不動，放慢速度再看一次，載滿瓦斯的駕駛經過路口，明明亮紅燈卻沒減速，撞上雙載騎士後，急忙下車查看。
附近店家：「也很大力也很慘，兩個騎摩托車的都倒了，試圖想要爬起來，但沒有爬起來。」
記者李潔：「事故地點就發生在這個十字路口，當時機車綠燈直行，沒想到遭到小貨車衝撞，而騎士被撞飛之後，左眼球當場破裂。」
警方調查，11日上午8點多，台北市興隆路四段，57歲潘姓騎士當天上午載著妻子出門，眼看綠燈 直直往前，偏偏45歲林姓駕駛，經過路口闖紅燈，這一撞 夫妻倆顱內出血，潘姓騎士左眼慘遭摘除。
附近店家：「剛設紅綠燈，在以前還沒設紅綠燈，雖然有(車禍)，好像都沒有那麼嚴重過，以前是裝閃黃燈的時候，大家經過這裡，都知道要看車子一下，(現在)反正一方看到有綠燈，綠燈那一方一定很快，紅燈忽略的那一方那就更慘了。」
回到事故地點，這窄窄的巷子 過去是閃燈，這幾年才變為紅綠燈設計，但附近居民指出，這紅綠燈與大路口原本的燈號靠得太近，常有人貪方便直直闖越，反而更危險。依照法令，闖紅燈開罰戰利品活動商品1800到5400元，但罰錢事小，再看一次撞擊瞬間，小貨車下坡行駛，卻疑似沒注意燈號，在路口撞上夫妻騎士，傷者左眼破裂摘除，成了一輩子難以復原的傷痛。
〈未來科技展開幕〉交大推出「華陀精算」 打入精準醫療市場
未來科技展開展，這一次未來科技展強調科技與生技產業做結合，同時也強調產學合作，希望目前的學術研究方面在未來能夠進入實際應用，對社會產生產值。而國立交通大學這一次推出「華陀精算」，以精準醫療結合仿生精算與統計學習，達到藥物最佳的整合性平台，同時也與多家生技公司進行合作，例如神隆 (1789-TW)、葡萄王 (1707-TW) 等都是合作夥伴。
交通大學這一次展出「華陀精算」主要次要透過疾病的標記與檢測，分析疾病亞型，進而找到最佳的藥物，舉例來說，「華陀精算」檢測出目標疾病是肺癌，就會以肺癌的亞型辨識分析，配對出最佳的標靶藥物；比起傳統不論基因與症狀，同疾病便以同樣的藥物做完所有治療的療程，風險高又危害病患的生活品質，但如果以精準醫療切入，達到個人化治療，更能對症下藥。
交通大學指出，精準醫療已經是現在醫療上的趨勢，預計到 2022 年，全球精準醫療的市場將上看逾 4 千億美元，漲幅相當快速，自然也吸引大廠相繼投入。平均來說，傳統醫療以相同藥物治療，最後只有 30% 的病人的病病情能夠得到控制，但若以個人化治療，預計能將病情控制的佔比提升至 90%。
「華陀精算」目前也與產學醫共同合作，取得 3 項美國專利，4 項台灣專利，未來也考慮成立公司，進入精準醫療的產業繼續深耕。
